Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the VerifyX platform, APIs, SDKs, or dashboard (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
VerifyX provides identity verification, document verification, biometric checks, AML and sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and related compliance tools. Verification results are advisory; you remain responsible for your own compliance and onboarding decisions.
3. Accounts & access
You must complete business onboarding before using live API keys. You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate any law, infringe rights, attempt to verify identities without a lawful basis, or circumvent rate limits and security controls. We may suspend access for violations.
5. Data & privacy
VerifyX is built on ephemeral processing - user media is processed in isolated memory and discarded; only decisions and scores persist. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. You are the data controller for your end users.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed per verification as described on the Pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with notice.
7. Service availability
We target 99.9% API availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and status are published on our Status page.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerifyX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding twelve months.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate with notice. Upon termination your access ends and retained records are purged per our retention policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
